Building the Domestic Church Kiosk

The Knights of Columbus St. John Paul II Council 16492 purchased, donated and set-up the kiosk with pamphlets in the church at Our Lady of La Leche Shrine in St Augustine, FL. A true sanctuary of prayer/devotion for thousands of visitors each year who attend mass and visit the grounds. It has been well received by the Director, Rector and Priests.

This year the Knights of Columbus are working with the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund. The Jay Fund’s mission is to BE THERE for families tackling childhood cancer by paying household bills, creating a financial game plan, and making a child’s life brighter.

The Knights of Columbus St John Paul II Council 16492 in Ponte Vedra Florida are earmarking all profits toward buying a sonogram machine for Gerard House, buying wheelchairs for those in need, and supporting children burn victims through Camp Amigo.

St. John Paul Council 16492 Knights of Columbus Assists Special Olympics

On Saturday July 31st 2021, Special Olympics of St Johns County had their County Swim Competition. Our Council came to help and had 13 volunteers (9 Brothers and 4 Ladies) to help with setup and breakdown, timers, and fans in the stands. Our Knights and Ladies were very much engaged and enthusiastic for this heartwarming event. Our council was presented with an award certificate for our contribution and support. We hope to continue with Special Olympics Basketball, Track and Field events later in this Fraternal Year.
